See all- Does Satoshi's Identity Matter? – an interview with Cullen HobackPubkey, New York, NY
You’ve heard Peter Todd’s take on Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity. (If not, you can watch it here!)
On Monday, December 16th, join us for a conversation with Cullen Hoback, documentary filmmaker and creator of Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery, released in October.
He'll be joined by PubKey cofounder Thomas Pacchia, for an interview about the film, the result of several years of investigative journalism that began with a thread Cullen pulled after discovering a link between El Salvador’s bitcoin adoption and early bitcoin developer Adam Back.
We'll discuss the clues he found, how the evidence led to his theory, and why he thinks the identity of bitcoin's creator still matters.
This is a free, public event kicking off with a live X Spaces at 4:30pm.

- Mad Bitcoin History & Games w/ Rizzo & Thomas Hunt – Holiday Edition! 🎄🎁📚🎲🤯Pubkey, New York, NY
It's the Holiday Edition of Bitcoin History & Games with Rizzo! 🎄🎁📚🎲🤯
"GOOD MORNING, BITCOINS!"
Each month Rizzo invites legendary guest speakers to the PubKey stage to choose timely topics related to the history of bitcoin, the network, the currency, and the people involved.
This is an interactive meetup, so attendees are encouraged to play along with BINGO, trivia, 21 questions, and more.
This month's guest is Thomas Hunt, but you may know him better as Mad Bitcoins! Thomas created the Mad Bitcoins show nearly 12 years ago because he couldn't find any entertaining short-form content about bitcoin on YouTube, so he decided to produce his own. A year later, he started World Crypto Network, which is the longest continually-running talk show about bitcoin, featuring too many legendary guests to even name here.
Cram for the bitcoin 2024 final exam and you might just walk away with some great prizes, including a brand new Foundation Passport!
- Coin Based: Concepts of a Plan for Nation-State Bitcoin AdoptionPubkey, New York, NY
It's our first Coin Based since the 2024 presidential election, and my…how things have changed.
Ideas that only a few weeks ago were laughed at by pundits and commentators are now on the table, with Cynthia Lummis leading the charge right out of the gate with her November 6th xweet:
WE ARE GOING TO BUILD A STRATEGIC BITCOIN RESERVE 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
So, we ask: How does this actually happen? How will the government acquire, HODL and use bitcoin? What's the strategy for the strategic reserve? What concepts of a plan does the second Trump administration have for long-term adoption?
Join us as Arbedout, Thomas, Drew and special guests David Zell and Shinobi ruminate on these topics, and answer your questions as best they can.
This is a FREE and PUBLIC event! 🍻🙏🧡
